Queensland Sleep continues to work as part of the broader health network in support of Public Health efforts to test, contain and manage COVID-19.
Please see below for the latest updates regarding our response to COVID-19 at our facilities across Queensland.
Visitor restrictions
All visitors are by appointment only.
Health screening requirements remain in place for anyone entering any of our hospital facilities and records of all visitors are required to be kept.
For everyone visiting our facilities, you are welcome to visit, however, we will exclude anyone who;
Mask wearing in our Centres
Queensland’s Chief Health Officer has confirmed that face masks are required to be worn at all times.
Children under 12 do not need to wear a mask, nor those with a physical condition or illness that makes wearing one unsuitable.
We appreciate your support through these changes to keep us all safe. We will continue to keep you updated if there are any revisions to the above requirements.
COVID-19 testing
If you are required to present for COVID-19 testing, you can find a list of COVID-19 testing centres on the Queensland Government website.
Coronaviruses are a family of viruses that include the common cold along with more severe diseases such as Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) and Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS). Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a new virus and was identified as the cause of a disease outbreak in China, that has now extended into a number of countries around the world.

If you’re feeling sick with any COVID-19 symptoms:
Testing is important to find as many cases in the community as quickly as possible.
If you make an appointment with your doctor, please call ahead so they can prepare for your visit and tell the staff what your symptoms are and your travel history (if any) or that you may have been in contact with a potential case.
Please stay home and isolate until you get the results and your symptoms resolve.
